Many of us have stressful lives, whether it be work, children, troubled friends or relatives, health problems or perhaps money worries

When the day is over, you may feel like you wish you could just go somewhere on your own and relax in tranquil surroundings

Unfortunately, for many of us, these sort of places are not to be found on our doorstep, and we have to make do with just relaxing at home

But what if you could bring a tranquil surrounding to you, in your own home?

Sometimes, all you need is temporary reprieve from the harshness that is life, a place where you can relax and have a little 'you' time

If you would like your 'place' to be the countryside on a warms summers day, where you can venture into some peaceful woods, this is the meditation for you!

The female speaker will talk you into a meditative state, encouraging you to relax all the muscles in your body, and to clear your mind of all thoughts

She will talk you into a deep state of meditation, and a ultimate state of relaxation

Once you are in that meditative state, the speaker will guide you into the  beautiful countryside, you will stand at the top of a hill surveying the beautiful view

You will hear birdsong, the sound of sheep and cows in the distance, and you will be encouraged to breath the clean air of the country, free of town and city fumes 

She will then direct you towards a peaceful and serene woods, describing your surroundings around you in detail at all times, and as the rain starts to fall, you'll be taken to your special place, a cabin in the woods, where there is already a roaring fire waiting for you

Once the rain stops, she will guide you back out into fields basking in sunshine, and you feel the sun and warm wind on your face

You will feel totally relaxed, tranquil, peaceful, and at one with your beautiful surroundings - remember, this is your time for YOU, and to escape your anxieties

At the end of the session, you will be guided back out of your special place, with the knowledge you can return any time

After the spoken meditation, if you want to continue your meditation, there is a half hour relaxation track

 Or, the beautiful piece of music can be used to just simply help you relax after your session.

Find a quiet space where you will not be disturbed and get yourself comfortable and relaxed

This session can be used even if you have never tried Guided Meditation before, but obviously, would be equally as effective for those of you who already practice meditation regularly
